I started this quilt after going to a Judith Montano lecture, it was late when I got home all inspired and I said to my partner that I had better not pick up a needle, so I made a coffee, turned on the TV and sat down to unwind...but couldn't stand it, turned off the TV and went down to my studio where I made 3 of the 1½ blocks before I went to bed. I finished it the next day.
It won 1st in class, champion ribbon and a shield at the 1993 Mt Gravatt Agricultural Show... Sadly it was lost in 1996 when I packed it to take to a class and it wasn't in the box when I went to show it?
